Magnus Onyibe, former Delta State Commissioner for Information, commented on Donald Trump’s electoral victory, seeing it as a validation of Trump’s claim that he was unfairly ousted in 2020. He argued that the Democrats, particularly through actions like sidelining Robert Kennedy Jr. and not allowing a primary, are undermining democracy.

Onyibe criticized Vice President Harris’s assertion that Trump would threaten democracy, suggesting it is the Democratic Party that is actually harming democratic processes.

In his words, “The Harris issue about him (Trump) going to kill democracy didn’t work; it was even the Democrats (DNC) that were killing democracy because they chased Robert Kennedy Jr. away from the party; he had to become an independent. That happened because Biden didn’t allow them to have a primary; primaries are usually what lead to the next step, but he imposed this woman (Harris), which is anti-democracy. They were dehumanizing Trump and saying that he would kill democracy while they are the ones killing democracy.”
