Introduction

How This Has Affected Me

When I first saw this I felt I was being buried. I feel this when a lot of things land on me at the same time as my mind tells me that they all have to be done.

It is why I am a member of so few Vocal Facebook Groups, my mind cannot deal with with too many things at the same time. I feel that I am being overwhelmed and just want to crawl into my shell and ignore it.

I know people will say that I don’t have to do things all at once, but they are not in my head, I am.

I know the answer is to prioritise and plan, and I was advised my a great friend how to deal with it.

The Facebook Group “Great Incantations: A group dedicated to Writing Challenges” helped me greatly by creating separate threads for each challenge, which you can check out here:

When I saw those threads I realised that I just had to do them one at a time. I had already done the Fantasy prologue, and two of the next three are poems so I could create those and now feel totally in control.

I have to give thanks to my friend and the admins of that Facebook Vocal group for showing me the path to take.

I know my path is very different from most creators and we must all find our own way but sometimes we need a hug and a helping hand.

Conclusion

These are how far I have progressed with these current Vocal Challenges and I will complete all eight within the week and then leave them be.
