A lady by the name Maureen Bahema has elicited mixed reactions online following her controversial opinion. In most societies men are naturally known as providers, and even if a wife is working her money will always be hers. Maureen has however came up with a different narrative.

Maureen has promised her future husband that she will help him with the bills and everything else that requires money. Her message to her future husband is that she understands it is overwhelming to pay all the bills, and she will be helping him with them all.

“Dear future husband when we get married, I will make sure to help you with paying for our children’s school fees, buying groceries, paying rent, shopping etc. My money is OUR money. What’s mine is yours too,” she says.

“Dear future husband, I don’t want you to pay all the bills by yourself. It can be too much sometimes, you don’t have to carry the financial responsibilities alone. We are in this together and we are meant to support each other in everything,” she adds.
