Bayern Munich are reportedly making a final attempt to keep Alphonso Davies at the club beyond the summer.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Alphonso Davies’ future at Bayern Munich is up in the air.
Having so far failed to reach an agreement with the left-back due to a disagreement over his wages, it now appears that Bayern have made him a fresh contract offer.
According to Bild’s ‘Bayern Insider’ podcast, Davies has let it slip in the dressing room that he has been presented with a new, and presumably final, proposal.
Davies has not yet responded to the offer, having reportedly been told by the club to either accept it or find a new employer.
Speaking after Bayern’s win over Union Berlin last week, board member for sport Max Eberl insisted there is still a chance that Davies will sign a new contract.
The question is how big that chance is. Italian transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, citing sources, put the probability of a stay at 10 percent last month.
Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona have all been linked with a move for the Canadian international.
