Our Good Housekeeping Institute experts rated the skillet an impressive 85/100 in our pan tests — a very slight improvement on the original Always Pan, which scored 84. They were impressed with its versatility — as well as combining 10 pieces of cookware in one, it comes with a steamer basket and colander, a wooden spatula (that can be slotted into the handle when not in use, which is neat), a steam-release lid and two pouring cups.

Plus, it can be put in the oven up to 230°C. Thanks to Our Place’s reliable non-stick coating, it’s also easy to clean. The only drawback? Some users did notice changes to the non-stick and some scratches to the pan over time, but they were using it every single day as they loved it so much! So, as long as you take care, it should be okay.

The GHI also tested Our Place’s Mini Home Cook Duo — including both the Always Pan and the Perfect Pot — which earned an even better score when tested, achieving 88/100. Again, this was thanks to their non-stick coating, which made cooking and cleaning faff-free, plus their quick heat-up times. Luckily, the duo is also discounted for Black Friday.

If it’s durability. you’re after, the Titanium Always Pan Pro scored 80/100 in our lab, cooking up mince and onions, pancakes and eggs with hardly any sticking. It can also withstand heats up to 535°C., so there’s no issues with putting it in the oven. Note that it is a little heavy and it will need seasoning with a high smoke point oil to protect the non-stick coating.

It scored 94/100 in our multi-cooker tests at the Good Housekeeping Institute. Our experts confirmed it’s speedy to use, lightweight and compact (although you can fit a whole chicken in there!). The controls are responsive and easy to use as well. A little trial and error is required at the start to get your cooking times right, but once you nail those, it’s an impressive – and stylish – countertop cooker. We also tested it as an air fryer, where it scored 91/100, so whatever you use it for, it should please.
