The woman whose body parts were found dumped at Lang’ata Cemetery in Nairobi has been identified as Deka Abdinoor, a second-year student.Abdinoor went missing from her home on Wednesday, October 23, prompting her family to file a report at the California Police Station.However, CCTV footage shows Abdinoor was still alive on October 26, entering a room in Lavington, where Hashim Dagane later joined her.

Who is Deka Abdinoor and how is she linked to Dagane? The deceased is said to have been a 26-year-old second-year student at Great Lake University, which is located in Kisumu.

Waris Daud, her 21-year-old daughter Amina Abdirashid, and 12-year-old niece Nuseiba Dahir—who had disappeared, and their bodies later found in Bahati, Parklands, and Machakos.

The DCI determined that, despite being relatives, Abdinoor and the three women were allegedly murdered by the same person, Hashim Dagane. Abdinoor’s family said she disappeared on Wednesday, October 23, and filed a report the next day at the California Police Station in Eastleigh.

“Our sister went missing on October 23, and we reported the matter to California police station. We have the OB number here,” the relative said. However, CCTV footage revealed that Abdinoor was still alive when her family reported her missing. The footage showed her walking into an apartment in Lavington on October 26 where Dagane later joined her.

They spent the night together in the house before surveillance cameras later captured Dagane leaving with two bags, which detectives suspect contained the woman’s remains, part of which were found at the entrance of Lang’ata Cemetery.
