ITV Big Brother stars suffer devastating blow hours before live double eviction

Housemates Lily Benson and Baked Potato aka Rosie Williams are the favourites to be evicted from the Big Brother house this evening as dramatic double elimination looms

Big Brother‘s Lily Benson and Baked Potato aka Rosie Williams have been dealt a crushing blow just hours before the live double eviction.

Lily, Baked Potato, Emma Morgan, Ali Bromley and Khaled Khlaed are all up for the chop during tonight’s (Friday, November 8) programme.

Thomas Atkinson was initially one of the five housemates with the most nominations, but but Head of House Marcello Spooks used his power to save him.

Marcello was called to the basement and shown the five nominated housemates, and he was told he could either swap one of the five out and replace them with someone else, or issue a “killer” nomination.

“Right, in the beginning, he’s been my day one, he brought me out of storage, he’s been my saving grace, he didn’t have to do that,” he said when explaining his reasons to save Thomas.

Marcello had to reveal who he put up for eviction instead of Thomas, and when he named Baked Potato, she said “it was fine”.

According to bookmakers, Lily and Baked Potato are the favourites to be evicted this evening at 8/13. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Lily and Rosie have both been favourites to win the series at some stage over the last few weeks, but the latest odds suggest their Big Brother journies will be brought to an end in a brutal double eviction tonight.”

Before Head of House Marcello swapped Thomas with Baked Potato, she received zero nominations from any other housemates. Segun Shodipo and Hanah Haji also didn’t receive a single nomination.

Lily, who received the most nominations, took being up for eviction less well. In the Diary Room, she admitted that she wasn’t happy and felt like the house would lose a “free spirit” with her gone.
