Official FA announcement of England Under 21s squad – 8 November 2024:
The England men’s under-21s squad for their games with Spain and the Netherlands has been selected.
Interim head coach Ben Futcher has picked a 24-man squad for the away double header, which starts with a trip to Cadiz to face Spain at La Linea de la Concepción on Friday 15 November (5.30pm GMT).
The Young Lions then head to the Netherlands, where they play at the Yanmar Stadium in Almere on Monday 18 November (5.45pm GMT).
There are first MU21s call-ups for Southampton’s Tyler Dibling and Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham, while there’s also a return to the squad for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and Burnley’s Bashir Humphreys.
After sealing qualification for next summer’s UEFA EURO U21 Finals in Slovakia with wins over Ukraine and Azerbaijan last month, England will be keen to use these games to prepare for the defence of their title.
