The situation in our country is going out of hand following numerous homicide cases that are being witnessed over time. The question at hand still remains unanswered, as we try to find out answers.

Among ladies who have been victims of homicide include Amina Abdi Rashid, Dahabo Said, Naiseu Muthoni, Nisayba Abdi Mohammed, Damaris Mutua Muthee, Monica Kimani, Lilian Achieng’, Rebecca Cheptegei, Rita Waeni, Jennifer Mwende, Starlet Wahu, Victoria Mumbua Muloki, Sharon Atieno, Seth Nyakio Njeri and Agnes Tirop.

The gruesome nature of their murders has since seen Kenyans raising an alarm calling upon the president to declare the situation a national disaster.

A Kenyan shared “The problem is the organs in charge are working on media than dealing with the killers and worst thing is incompetence of DCI and NIS both Mohamed Amin and NIS Noordin Haji.”

Another one advised “Trustworthiness and return of morality in the society, Not the government.”

Another told the women representatives “Women representatives in parliament what’s your take? Can’t you cry and scream loud for other women and girls for protection and safety? Those in powers should tell us! Kenya has DCI, NIS, IPOA and so forth, all enjoying big salaries.”

It was also echoed “When humans stop cheating, staying in toxic relationships and lastly, the love for money and flashy lifestyle, then these cases will reduce. It will only be stopped by self-control and not trusting strangers in the name of love. As we demand for the government to intervene, it’s a responsibility for women to take precautions. This is all about lust, love of money and moral decadence.”

Furthermore, it was speculated “Our constitution is the worst on earth, how can all criminals be given a section of buying their freedom (everyone has the right to a bond)no fear to commit crimes. What do you expect when you see those offenders freely not behind bars? Nobody deserves death no matter what. Life is more important than anything else and these killings must be stopped by the authority.”
