Following Head of State His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto’s visit to the United States, the American government today gave supplies to Kenyan primary schools.

Today, November 8, 2024, the US government announced through the US Department of Defense that it has provided sanitary towels to public primary schools that are positioned strategically throughout Kenya’s vast boundaries.

According to the United States Government, the grant was intended to assist young girls pursuing their primary education at elementary schools located around the nation.

The US government emphasized that many girls’ menstruation has become a hindrance to their ambitions, stating that some skip school because they are unable to afford sanitary goods, such as sanitary towels.

This grant was made just days after His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, the head of state, visited the United States for a week as part of a key state visit.
